BOW VALLEY SQUARE

Address: 200 block, 5th and 6th Avenues

Bow Valley Square, a "super block" development, was the fourth project in Calgary designed by the Toronto firm Webb Zerafa and Menkès, after Calgary House (1964), the Aquitaine Tower (1968), and the Standard Life Building (1968). Although the project was unveiled in 1969, the final tower was not completed until 1982. The project's name was conceived by Calgary resident John Philip Matta (1928–2022).
