The Calgary office of the Construction Company Limited was designed by Edmonton architect Kelvin Crawford Stanley. He designed a similar building for the CEC Edmonton as well (at 16116 111 Ave). The CEC was a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Foundation Company of Canada Limited, and had its head offices in Montreal. An image of the Calgary office appeared in the 1957 annual report of the Foundation Company.
