Reginald F. Jennings and his partner Norman "Red" Dutton were the founders of Standard General Construction (see here). The Jennings House, along with the Marshall M. Porter House, was one of the two original estate properties in what became Eagle Ridge. Jennings's house was photographed in 1953 by Yousuf Karsh.
